About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Sonoma at 239 Boyes Blvd, Creekside Cafe is a cherished brunch destination beloved for its authentic, comforting American breakfast fare. This charming eatery embodies the spirit of a classic hometown diner with a contemporary twist, delivering a breakfast experience that feels both inviting and delightfully satisfying.

The menu reads like a celebration of morning favorites, enticing with options such as perfectly executed Eggs Benedict, fluffy Creekside’s Buttermilk Hot Cakes, and the indulgent Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy with Eggs and Potatoes. For those who crave savory and filling plates, the Italian Sausage Omelet and Huevos Con Chorizo burst with robust, zesty flavors, while lighter dishes like the Seasonal Omelet and Veggie Scramble offer fresh, vibrant options. Sweet tooths will revel in the Crispy Sourdough French Toast, especially when paired with fresh fruit for that perfect balance of richness and brightness.

Dining at Creekside Cafe on the sunny patio is a true pleasure—customers often mention the friendly, attentive service that heightens the relaxed, community feel of the spot. The atmosphere hums with the gentle pace of Sonoma life, where locals and visitors alike enjoy the simple joy of a thoughtfully prepared meal. As Katherine Clausing described, it’s “the best breakfast on the patio,” a sentiment echoed by many who find comfort in the reliably great food and warm hospitality.

Creekside’s attention to detail is evident not only in the food but also in the little touches: vintage salt and pepper shakers add nostalgic charm, and the consistent quality of their coffee rounds out the experience perfectly. It’s this blend of tradition and care that Darlene Rhodes praises, noting how their eggs are always “cooked to perfection” and how the diner remains one of the last places in Sonoma offering a genuine, traditional breakfast—including the rare treat of rye toast.

Whether you’re starting your day with the hearty Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs Any Style or enjoying the delicate balance of the Smoked Salmon Scramble, Creekside Cafe delivers bold flavors, generous portions, and a welcoming ambiance that leaves a lasting impression. As Valerie Hopkins put it, the food is “delicious and priced very fair,” making it the perfect stop for a satisfying brunch between your Sonoma adventures.

For those who appreciate a classic breakfast done right—served quickly, with care, and in a lively yet cozy setting—Creekside Cafe is an essential Sonoma gem. Whether you’re seeking a flavorful scramble or the comforting embrace of French toast and bacon, this cafe promises a consistently uplifting start to your morning.

Had the best breakfast on the patio! Server was helpful and friendly. We had lattes, biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, a pancake, and French toast. All well done. Really pleasant spot.

Perfect hometown diner breakfasts in Sonoma. One of the best and last places to get a traditional breakfast in Sonoma… We love coming to Creekside. They have lots of fabulous choices and the eggs are always cooked to perfection. I like mine over medium so that the whites are cooked in the yolks are running and they are perfect every time. They even have a traditional rye toast, which I can’t get everywhere and I love it. The service is efficient and everyone who works here is very kind and customer service-driven. They keep coming back to pour coffee every few minutes and I love the fact that they have excellent higher-quality berry jams versus the traditional little individual overly sugared jams in the tiny disposable containers. Mike and his crew are awesome!!

Found here during strolled around in town before started the trip in Sonoma. Restaurant located on the corner of the road, easy to notice. We met the beary waiter who serviced us quite well, a bit busy sometimes. Breakfast served really quick. Good atmosphere, surrounded with slow-going people. Table area was somewhat dense so we cannot move so much. Overall it was the good start of the morning before long trip with bomb of calories here lol.

We were looking for a breakfast spot in between client meetings. Googled "breakfast near me" and found this gem. I ordered the smoked salmon scramble and my hubby got the French toast with egg and bacon. All delicious and priced very fair in today's economy. And the coffee was great too! Can't wait to eat here again.

Nice Sonoma breakfast place! The friendliness is only surpassed by the quickness of the service! That didn’t sound right. But what I meant is that everyone me is friendly and fast here. Tasty food too. I got the corned beef hash and my fiancé got the country Benedict special. Both were as advertised. Prices were very reasonable.
